Falora

Falora terms of use

Last updated 9 October 2026.

These terms are the agreement between you and Falora, made by one person in Portugal. They are written to be read. By using Falora you agree to them.

What Falora is

Falora teaches the everyday phrases you need to get by in Portuguese, Spanish, Italian, German, French and Dutch. It helps you speak at real counters, in real streets. It does not promise fluency, a qualification or a test result.

Your account

You can use the first lessons without an account. If you create one, keep your password to yourself, and give a first name and city that are honestly yours. You are responsible for what happens under your account.

Leaderboards, kudos and nemesis

Your first name, avatar, rank and XP are visible to other learners. Do not use a name that is offensive, impersonates someone, or advertises anything. We may rename or remove an account that does, or that tries to cheat the leaderboards, for example by tampering with the app to collect XP it did not earn.

Subscriptions and the free trial

  • Falora offers a monthly and a yearly subscription. The price is shown in the app before you buy, in your local currency.
  • New subscribers get a 7-day free trial. If you do not cancel at least 24 hours before it ends, the subscription starts and you are charged.
  • Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the renewal date.
  • Payment is taken by your Apple ID or Google Play account. You manage and cancel your subscription in your App Store or Google Play account settings, not in Falora.
  • Refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their own rules. Your rights as a consumer under EU law are not affected.
  • If you cancel, you keep access until the end of the period you have paid for.

Things you may not do

Do not copy, resell or redistribute Falora's lessons, audio or artwork; do not try to break, overload or reverse-engineer the app or its servers; and do not use it to harass anybody.

Availability

We work to keep Falora running and accurate, but it is provided as it is. We may change, add or remove content and features over time. If we ever stop offering Falora, we will tell subscribers in advance and stop charging them.

Liability

Falora is a learning aid. In an emergency, call 112. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect losses arising from using the app. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot legally be limited.

Ending your account

You can delete your account at any time in Settings. We may suspend an account that breaks these terms, after telling you why where we can.

Law

These terms are governed by Portuguese law. If you live elsewhere in the EU you keep the protection of your own country's consumer law.

Changes

If these terms change in a way that matters, we will tell you in the app before the change applies.
